I know you’ve heard the saying your Network is your Net-worth. This is so true on so many levels.

Last month I had the opportunity of speaking at an amazing Mastermind in New Jersey. What I really loved was learning from the other speakers

Here are some takeaways:

1. Instead of starting a personal care home or group home from scratch these investors buy group homes and personal care homes already operating with clients. Usually with some sort of profit. All that is needed is some elbow grease to improve the place and if not fully occupied they plug and play systems to increase profits. This is the cheat code starting from scratch costs more and long wait times for licensing and zones. 2. I also learned the formula to gain business credit and how to qualify for loans. The #1 Mistake some people make is not improving or managing personal credit.

3. Being in the right rooms and adding value is the key to advancing yourself and business. Investing in yourself is key scared money don’t make no money. Paid events and private masterminds are where you will find the most value and no time will be wasted.

4. Stay ready, I was asked to speak at this conference and this was my first ever speaking engagement. I made a deep connection and people offered to help with my mission. Never be afraid to tell your story or to ask for help in whatever you may need help in.

The last thing I want to leave you with is sometimes we wonder how to break to our first million but the real question is who do I need to talk to the how is not as important. You are one connection away from your biggest breakthrough.
